Managing Burnout While Unemployed

April 18, 2024

11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Burnout is real and highly complex. While unemployment can be very stressful, it also gifts us an opportunity to employ strategies to heal from burnout. Without addressing burnout and our mental health, we are bound to rush through the job search process and end up in a less than optimal job.

I would love to provide remote job seekers with practices that could both prioritize their health and gets them poised for the best opportunity out there for them. On a personal note, I was just recently laid off from PowerToFly due to workforce reduction. I’m truly teaching what I am practicing at the moment.

Dr. Aida (also known as Dr. A) is a Global DEIB+ strategist, speaker, certified personal & executive coach. She is a workplace culture of inclusion geek, big fan of mid-managers, and remote work advocate.

She is the CEO & Founder of Taina Coaching & Training, a consultancy centering positive psychology to advance organizational DEIB+ objectives and turn them into transformative action.

Out in the wild, Dr. Aida is an avid Pilates practitioner, traveler and self-proclaimed foodie. She lives outside of Minneapolis Minnesota (USA) with a chunky and very spoiled cat named Coco, a husband whom her mom calls a saint (more on that later), and a daughter who inspired the character Wednesday from the Addams family.
