The thought behind my presentation was that once you understood your worth, personally, then negotiating for the correct salary would be an easier decision to make.

A lot of us sell ourselves short simply because we don’t think we’re qualified or worthy of the position in front of us. We also sell ourselves short simply because ‘it pays the bills’ instead of paying us for our true value.

It’s a stretch but the theory applies to every aspect of our lives.
